		Holiday Shipping Deadlines and Gift Cards A report by Archstone Consulting states that the gift card market will be similar in 2009 as it was in 2008. Imaginative gift card solutions and the new availability of places to sell them online make gift cards a broad reaching gift. Lots of advertisers are now offering commissionable gift cards. Here is a quick and easy reference list to boost transactions (and commissions!) this holiday season. IRI Holiday 2009 Forecast reports that 60% of consumers are planning on shopping online for their holiday purchases this year. Make sure your visitors know exactly how much they can procrastinate by checking out these shipping deadlines.
		Help Fight the Advertising Tax Your participation in the fight against the advertising tax is needed. There is great strength in numbers. Our effectiveness in fighting legislation that directly harms the income of affiliates will ultimately be bolstered by readiness. Reaching out to legislators prior to the proposal of advertising tax bills in January will give us a much greater success. Legislators care about their constituents, and we want to be armed with real life examples of the devastating impact these laws will have on the people they represent.
